Forested Watersheds Protect Water Supply to Industry

A forested watershed filters pollutants, holds soil against erosion, regulates water flow through flood and drought cycles, and recharges groundwater.

These functions build up over time through root systems and forest floor structure, shaping water quality and availability for everything downstream.

Flash Forest recently completed a planting operation in Alberta, on land feeding a watershed connected to AB InBev's brewery water supply, an example of reforestation functioning as operational infrastructure for water security.
