CNN Covers of Flash Forest (again!)

Flash Forest was delighted to host CNN recently.

The short story: Forests are not recovering from wildfires the way they used to and the severity and frequency of wildfires is increasing. Regeneration has slowed. The window to intervene before grassland takes hold is narrowing. The carbon stored in these ecosystems is at risk if replanting doesn't happen at the right footprint and scale. Flash Forest's operation is built around this new reality.

Machine learning supports site selection, species prescription, and post-planting monitoring across every project area. Pods are now buried into the soil using a proprietary firing method that improves establishment rates.

The team has planted 3 million trees across Canada and the US with millions more to come.
