Flash Forest partnered with Telus and other corpoirate partmers to plant 287,000 trees in the area of Bearhole Lake, and a further 213,000 at Battleship Mountain, British Columbia restorign a total of 333 hectares.
Silviculture assessment showed an average density of 1500 seedlings per hectare. Over their lifetime, these trees will sequester 579,000 tonnes of Co2 equivalent. That is the equivialnt of taking 273,113 ICE Cars off the road for 1 year.
The tree will filter 2,400,000 mega-litres of water, helping clean local watershed and
Flash Forest used highly-specialized drones to plant their proprietary seedpod technology.
